CPSO is excited to announce that the new Physician Register is now live! 

Launched on October 16, the new Register has been completely modernized, offering a better user experience, a more intuitive way of displaying physician information and heightened cybersecurity.

We developed these enhancements in consultation with stakeholders, including Ontario physicians, pharmacists, hospital staff, medical schools and members of the public. Their feedback will, for example, make it significantly easier for pharmacists to verify prescription details.  

The types of information found on the Register have been updated to reflect by-law changes, ensuring that the most salient and helpful information is available. An overview of what information is made public on the register, and what is not, has been developed into an easy-to-understand document. 

We’ve also added a new resource page to the Register, which includes a video tour and FAQs, to help users navigate the new Register. So take a tour and see what’s new!
